Vote for your fellow Woman’s Club members running for ADEM elections this weekend

The Assembly District Election Meetings (ADEMs) are held every two years to elect 14 delegates from each Assembly District to serve as your representatives at the California Democratic Party convention. These elections begin this Saturday.

The following are the scheduled ADEMs in San Diego County. Listed are current members of Democratic Woman’s Club of San Diego who are running to give voice to our concerns as party delegates.

The ADEMs are open to all registered Democrats in the respective district to attend and cast votes. Any non-Democrat may also attend, and by re-registering as a Democrat at the ADEM, may cast a vote.

The top seven women and top seven men (or identifying as other-than-female) vote-getters will be selected as Assembly District Delegates. You will need two ballots, one for delegate selection and one for your Executive Board vote. Please encourage your friends, family, and neighbors to attend your local ADEM. You must be present to vote. You do not have to stay around after you vote but it’s a lot of fun and the votes you cast play a large role in how our state party addresses and prioritizes issues you care about!

Please support our members with your vote. Remember, it may be you the next time!
