Proposed Bylaw Changes – (M: Yvonne Elkin)
The bylaws currently read:
ARTICLE III: MEMBERSHIP SECTION 3 – DUES
A. Dues are payable upon joining the Club and shall be renewed annually on that anniversary date. Members will be given a one (1) month grace period before their membership is considered lapsed.
B. Payment of dues shall not be obligatory to anyone for whom it
constitutes an economic hardship after due consideration and approval by the Executive Board.

C. Dues shall be reviewed, annually, at the October meeting of the
Executive Board. Any changes recommended will be voted on at the October General Membership Meeting.

If approved by the membership the new bylaws will read:
ARTICLE III: MEMBERSHIP SECTION 3 – DUES
A. Dues are payable upon joining the Club and then annually at the
beginning of every club calendar year thereafter and no later than January 31st. Memberships paid at or after the October meeting will remain valid through the following calendar year.
2. Payment of dues shall not be obligatory to anyone for whom it
constitutes an economic hardship after due consideration and approval by the Executive Board.
3. Dues shall be reviewed, annually, at the September meeting of the
Executive Board. Any changes recommended will be voted on at the October General Membership Meeting.

Vote called by Dr. Richmond. Motion passes with 19 in favor.

Program – Self Care in Stressful Times: Faatima Harley, Certified Yoga Instructor, Chocolate Yoga Destinations Mindfulness exercise – guided meditation and sound bath.

President, Dr. LaWana Richmond – Programing ideas, A committee needed. Please reach out if you would like to assist.

New Business
Yvonne Elkin makes a motion to donate $1,000 to support WOC Roar.
Motion passes with 19 in favor.
