Sep 19 – Measure A – Measuring the Width of the Democratic Party

gretchen-img_0716-4x510252075_565450282399_7360537802513101462_nIn this strange election cycle what can Republicans and Democrats agree on? Measure A.

The Republican Party of San Diego County and the San Diego County Democratic Party both agree that you should vote No on Measure A in November.

But not all Democrats agree. At this month’s meeting we’ll hear from Anthony Montalvo and Gretchen Newsom on the pros and cons of voting for the Measure. This will be a fascinating discussion of the Measure, and its wider implications.

Come along and discuss this and other ballot measures with interested and engaged citizens.

Anthony Montalvo is the Outreach Manager for Citizens for a Better San Diego, a campaign organization working to support Measure A.

Gretchen Newsom is the Political Director for IBEW 569, and a member of a diverse coalition that includes environmental, labor, business, and community advocacy groups that oppose Measure A.
