College affordability – what’s happening at the state level to make college affordable and accessible to all Californians?
Chris Ward, in his capacity as Chief of Staff to State Senator Marty Block will be joining us to speak about issues facing today’s students. We’ll hear about the new programs offering 4 year degrees at some community colleges and many other things.

Chris serves as the Chief of Staff to State Senator Marty Block, representing most of the City of San Diego. In this capacity, Chris is strongly committed to excellence in constituent services, facilitating public participation in policymaking, and organizing state and local resources to make our neighborhoods a better place every day.
Chris Ward is also running to represent San Diego City Council’s Third District.
Come along and meet with a group of committed progressives making a game changing effort to take the Democratic message across the county!
